Breakfast selection was diverse and satisfying.

The platform bed was excessively high, leaving no space for personal items like phones or glasses. The cramped bathroom featured a narrow ledge that was hardly functional for toiletries, making it frustrating to use. the lack of outlets created significant inconvenience, as charging my devices became an ordeal, and I found myself constantly shuffling what needed charging.

From the moment I walked into the hotel, the warmth of the staff enveloped me, making me feel at home right away. The room was beautifully designed with large windows that let in plenty of natural light, and the comfort of the bed ensured I had restful nights. Breakfast was a standout, with a delightful mix of continental and Japanese options, truly a treat to kickstart my mornings.

The breakfast spread was delightful—continental choices, fresh fruit, and delicious hot drinks. Plus, the staff was incredibly friendly !

The room was small with spotty Wi-Fi, and I noticed some noise from the street at night. Not ideal for a restful sleep!

Loved the location! It was close to the metro and Time Out Market. My twin room was clean and had a French press. Filtered water daily. The bathroom was fantastic. The staff were incredible and made me feel welcome. a wonderful stay! 😊

I truly enjoyed my stay with the amazing breakfast selection and the friendly staff. Being just a 10-minute stroll from the stunning Miradouro Sao Pedro de Alcantara and only 500 meters from the bustling Time Out Market, making it super easy to explore the city on foot.

the room was a bit small for three people (which was tight), but the location is superb! so close to transport and restaurants. loved the free minibar and the friendly staff really made a difference.

staying at independente bica was a great experience. the modern double room was super comfortable, and the bed was the best we had during our trip. the friendly staff were very helpful, especially when i was feeling ill. we really enjoyed both breakfast options too, especially the tasty japanese one!
